For more than a generation, the east of the Democratic Republic of the Congo has not come to rest. Life for women in this region is extremely difficult. Not only do they have to provide for their families, they are also exposed to a very high risk of becoming victims of violence.
The political uncertainty in the DR Congo is causing migration flows and many children are separated from their families. Severe poverty, insecurity, a lack of basic social services and sexual violence have a huge impact on children's development.
Local communities learn to resolve their conflicts peacefully.

Connexio develop supports projects in the education and agricultural sectors in Bolivia.
Bolivia is the country with the highest proportion of indigenous people and is also the poorest country in South America. Until two decades ago, the majority of the population lived from agriculture on the Altiplano, a high plateau at 4,000 meters above sea level.
Since then, the rural exodus in Bolivia has increased significantly. The urban population is growing rapidly; poverty and crime are on the rise. The indigenous population in particular, the Aymara and Quechua, has inadequate access to higher education institutions or political offices. Their schooling is poor and their prospects of finding a well-paid job are slim.
Connexio develop uses the contributions to support educational and agricultural projects.
