Connexio develop supports projects in Bolivia in the education and agriculture sectors

Bolivia

Bolivia is the country with the highest proportion of indigenous people and is also the poorest country in South America. Until two decades ago, the majority of the population lived from agriculture on the Altiplano, a high plateau at 4,000 meters above sea level. Since then, Bolivia has seen a sharp increase in rural exodus.

The resident population in the cities is growing rapidly; poverty and crime are on the rise. The indigenous population in particular, the Aymara and Quechua, has inadequate access to higher education institutions or political offices. Their schooling is poor and their prospects of finding a well-paid job are slim.

Connexio develop uses the contributions to support educational and agricultural projects.
