In Cambodia, Buddhism is the state religion. The Cambodian constitution guarantees freedom of faith and religion, as long as this freedom does not affect the conviction and impairs the religion of others or endangers public order and safety. In addition, the VeThe constitution prohibits discrimination against people on the basis of their religious beliefs. The implementation of the Gfreedom of belief remains due to the very difficult story challenging. Around 93 % practiced by the population Buddhism and only around 2.5 % of the population are Christian faiths. The Methodist Church in Cambodia ishas existed for 25 years and has around 2'800 members. 

Connexio hope makes a solidarity contribution to cover the structural costs and promotes the competency of the Pastors and the Church employees.
