In order to remain relevant as a church in a complex world, it is important that pastors and church employees regularly undergo further training.
Connexio hope supports these training and further education courses; the aim is to promote tailor-made and context-relevant further education courses in particular.
In the DR Congo, Connexio hope supports the episcopal regions of North Katanga and South Congo with a contribution to a training fund that the churches manage themselves. A multi-year plan is used to determine training needs and draw up a plan to improve skills.
Pastors and church employees have a solid education, which forms a good basis for the further development of the church.
